Countess Darya Saltykova is considered one of the most beautiful women ever to inhabit the region of Favola. Many men have tried unsuccessfully to conquer her. She is the wife of Count Gilles de Rais. It is rumored that she loves to torture all the servants in her court, and she is credited with around 134 deaths, almost all of them women, of whom no trace has been found, so she has not been charged with anything. Among her victims are the men who attempt to court her, of whom there is also no trace. Of the victims fed to the duchess, part is used to produce wine to offer to her lord as a tribute, while the other part is for her personal enjoyment. The leftover meat from her banquets is used directly to feed the vampire offspring. She rules over a quarter of the kingdom, where she controls her human livestock to ensure it is always ready for her hunts.
