The incarnation of the future: The Fate, Átropos (''What it must occur'')

Also known as the ‘inexorable’ or ‘inevitable’, sometimes called Aisa, but more commonly known as Morta. He was the one who cut the thread of life. He chose the way each man died, choosing what thread to cut. It presents itself to men as an old aged woman. If her other two sisters represent birth (Urd), and marriage (Verdandi), she is the encarnation of death. From the three Fates it is the most feared among men.
