The southwest coast is a place well known by people due to its crystal clear waters, and white sand bottoms and corals that reflect the sky, giving rise to turquoise water. They are beaches where many people go to spend the summer when the weather permits. Its bottoms are full of white corals inhabited by a large number of fish and other marine species, among which is the great Koi, a type of giant fish, which is only found in the area, and that the fishermen are prohibited from fishing due to their hostility if threatened, in addition to their scarcity as a species.
On the coast one of the best known towns is Cala Bianco, a small walled fishing port, with a central structure in the middle of the sea where those who rule the town live.
