The Temple of Njord

The temple of Njord, the god of fertile lands, coasts, seas, and marine navegations. He is the husband of Skade the goddess of winter, and the father of Frey and Freyja. And as the rest of his family, he is a Vanir. However, the god of fertile lands, coast and the sea shouldn´t have its temple at the peak of a mountain, but the fact is that the temple was once surrounded by the sea, and covered in grass and not in snow, however as his wife, Skade disapear, the winter is constant throughout the entire northern region and everything is a huge white landscape covered in ice and snow. It is difficult for pilgrims and orators to reach the temple to pray, so Njord loses followers and power over time
