The incarnation of the past: The Fate, Urd (''What happened'')

The Fate of the past, Urd, is represented as a little girl. For each of the Fates is embodied as one of the three ages of man. The Fate of the past has parts of the tapestry that tangle in her body, so she has to carry the weight of human history. As time passes more weight is added on her shoulders because the tapestry contains more and more history of humanity, because the tapestry represents the life of each person like a thread on their loom, and the length of each thread is the duration of that person's life.
