Lesser natural vampires are the next stage of growth for natural vampires. When a baby vampire reaches 200 years of age and has consumed enough blood, its physical form transforms to take on a somewhat more human appearance, shedding its bat-like appearance. Their wings shrink in size, leaving only the membranes under their arms visible, making it impossible for them to fly further, but allowing them to glide. Their ears remain large, allowing them to see and sense sounds. They are fast, agile, and ferocious, guided only by their hunting instinct and hunger. They feed on both blood and human flesh, leaving only the bones of their prey. They tend to live primarily in damp, cold, and dark places, although they rarely come to the surface at night to hunt.
