Bab City

Where the canyon excavated by the southern river ends, there is a gigantic door excavated in the same rock that marks the exit of the route before flowing into the emerald lake. At this point where the gate is located, we find the city of Bab, a city that exercises a toll function, controlling all those boats that enter and leave the gate before accessing the emerald lake, and therefore entering the region. from the south. The city is economically supported by trade along the river as payment in spices to pass the toll. Most of the houses and dwellings of the people are located outside the elevated and walled area, since this land is limited in space and there are some important structures such as the temple or the house of the most prominent people. The gate is built on the same carved stone, and the city began to be built long after the gate was already built.
